DOMAIN AUCTIONS
To place a bid on a domain we require you to be a registered member and you must accept our Domainshield.com.au ("Domainshield.com.au") Customer Terms and Conditions and auDA's Mandatory Terms and Conditions Applying to .au Domain Name Licences (2008-07).
Whilst registration allows a customer to place offers on any expired domain name listed on the auction page, Domainshield.com.au reserves the right to cancel any bid should Domainshield.com.au consider, in its sole and absolute discretion, that there has been improper conduct on the part of the customer.
If you have placed the winning bid on a domain name, you will be legally obliged to pay the amount of your winning bid to Domainshield.com.au. If you fail to do so, we will commence legal proceedings to recover the amount.
Domain Bids listed on the Auction page are exclusive of goods and services tax (GST) and the domain registration fee. If we are successful in obtaining the desired domain for you, we will issue you with an invoice which will include the amount of your winning bid, the amount of GST payable as well as the registration fee. Invoices are strictly payable within 24 hours of issue. Payment may be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) or electronic funds transfer. Domainshield.com.au reserves the right, and you hereby agree to Domainshield.com.au exercising the right, to publicise all sales conducted through Domainshield.com.au auctions.
Upon receipt of payment you will have instand access to the domain name.
DOMAIN TRANSFERS:
Where any registrar other than Domainshield.com.au Pty Ltd ACN 135 424 878 registers a domain name on your behalf, as part of the domain name auction, you agree that:
(a) you will immediately authorise (and do all things necessary to give effect to) a transfer of that domain name to Domainshield.com.au Pty Ltd as the registrar on record; and
(b) you consent to receiving emails from Domainshield.com.au Pty Ltd (or any other registrar who registers a domain name on your behalf as part of the domain name auction) to facilitate the transfer.
